The LITBK team consist of highly qualified specialists whose main goal is customer satisfaction through competent work, precision and strict confidentiality in accordance with principles of good laboratory and professional practice. All of the laboratory team has signed a Declaration of Impartiality and Confidentiality. The management of the Energy Agency - Plovdiv provides an opportunity for continuous additional training and qualification of specialists, participation in seminars, as well as active participation in the development of scientific projects

Equipment

LITBK has new modern highly sensitive analytical equipment from leading companies - AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES, THERMO SCIENTIFIC, ELEMENTAR, IKA WERCKE, BINDER, PRECISA, NABERTHERM, RETSCH, AHLBORN, etc. The equipment includes sample preparation equipment - sample divider, cutting mill, laboratory shaker, microwave decomposition system, technical and analytical scales, laboratory dryer and muffle furnace, sieve machines, bulk vessels, mechanical durability tester for pellets and briquettes, deionized and ultrapure water apparatus, modern instrumentation - calorimetric system, ion chromatographic system, ICP-OES, elemental analyzer for CHN, UV-VIS, pH and electrical conductivity instrument, etc.

In order to ensure traceability of the results, the measuring equipment in the laboratory are calibrated at appropriately determined intervals by the National Metrology Institutes (BIM, etc.), calibration laboratories with recognized calibration capability and with appropriate uncertainty accredited by the National Accreditation Body. The laboratory also develops in-house laboratory methods for the calibration of measuring equipment.
